FixNow operates an SMS messaging program to support our home-services marketplace. This section describes how we collect, use, and protect mobile phone numbers and the messages sent through that program.
You opt in to receive SMS from FixNow by entering your mobile number during account sign-up and checking the SMS consent box, or by enabling SMS notifications in your account settings. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
Message frequency varies based on your activity (typically 1–10 messages per week for active users). Message and data rates may apply per your wireless carrier agreement. FixNow does not charge for SMS messages.
You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to any FixNow message. You will receive a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, after which no further SMS will be sent. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at customer@fixnow.inc. You can also disable SMS notifications in your account settings.
Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent information are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. We share your phone number only with our SMS delivery provider (Twilio) for the sole purpose of delivering the messages you opted in to receive, and with service professionals you have explicitly booked or contacted through the platform.
FixNow SMS is supported on all major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, US Cellular, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
